Speech and Language Pathologist
Christie Apodaca, MS, CCC-SLP, brings over 14 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist. Throughout her career, she has primarily worked within educational settings, providing support to students facing a variety of communication difficulties and disorders. Christie is adept at employing a diverse range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients.
In addition to her work in schools, Christie has also contributed her expertise in clinical settings and with private clients. She holds specialized training in orofacial myofunctional therapy, a field that holds personal significance for her due to its impact on her own family.
She is passionate about enhancing communication abilities and fostering holistic well-being, Christie is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those she serves.
Years of dedicated learning and skill refinement have also equipped her to understand and cater to clients with diverse neurotypes. Her practice embodies this wealth of experience and is proudly neurodivergent affirming, ensuring inclusive and empowering support for all.
Christie enjoys working with all ages and looks forward to helping others efficiently and effectively communicate with the world around them.
Christie lives in Portland, OR with her two kids, husband and dog. They love to travel and take long walks. She also enjoys knitting, reading, running, and connecting with old and new friends.
